A fine Prattware pottery dolphin-shaped sauce boat, the base initialed and dated MB 1819. Several versions of this type were produced; this example is probably the best and rarest. The body and tail are strikingly relief molded with fish scales artistically decorated in blue and dark brown. The rim, mouth, and fins are ochre and orange.
Dimensions: 4 inches high 5.75 inches long
Current Condition: Exceptionally good condition.
