A rare and charming pottery faience glazed figure of a seated pig modeled on a green oval base with good attention to detail. The pig is decorated with sponged manganese patches and is modeled scratching with the rear leg.The base has a painters/makers mark.

Current Condition: Fine unrestored clean condition

Provenance: The Reed Fitt Collection (Year 2000 at Lawrences auction) and then with private collection Cotswolds England
