A rare pair of Staffordshire pottery figures of dogs on bases. The characters are modeled seated on a turquoise bases and smoking pipes. The dogs are decorated in underglaze black. The inspiration of these figure developed from a painting by one of Queen Victoria's favorite painters "Landseer".

Dimensions: 8.5 inches high

Current Condition: Pipe restored.
