Dated: 1850 Staffordshire

Pair of antique Victorian pottery figures of a lion and lioness with cubs. There is an amusing and rather comical snake sliding along in the tree at which both protective parents are snarling at. One of the cubs appears to be waving back but this is probably my whimsical take on this figure.
