Staffordshire pottery pearlware glazed table base with bocage figure group titled  ALE BENCH  attributed to  Obadiah Sherratt. With the upturned table and the couple fighting, this figure is the rarest of the three versions of "Ale Bench." The glaze, vital modeling, and enamel decoration are exceptional, and the group is probably one of the best and most significant of its type.  

Dimensions: 8.5 inches high

Current Condition: Restored by Ceramic Conservators to the British Royal Family, tip of leaf, two table legs, leg on the table base .
