Dated: 1705 Nottingham or Critch

An outstanding Morley Nottingham double-walled jug with carved reticulation incised scrolling vines and a reeded neck. The pierced forms were cut from the outside of the double wall, the fragments falling through the open base. The underside of the jug reveals the conical base of the inner vessel.    

Dimensions: 4 inches high

Current Condition: Minor chip at top rim other wise in very fine condition.
