Antique Staffordshire pottery late 18th century pot pouri vase with cover in classical form. The piece is decorated with surface inlaid agateware.This technique was produced by applying different coloured clays to the wet slip surface which were then cut and polished on the lathe to achieve a wonderful stylish effect.
