Jackfield glazed flagon decorated with a smoking kiln, a potter and a table of wares

The flagon is probably unique, perhaps made by the potter for his use and delight. The flagon or bottle is vitally decorated with hand-applied images of a smoking pottery kiln, with the potter seated at his foot-driven wheel in forming a  pot. There is also a table with two pieces of his finished wares. The black "Jackfield" type glaze is thickly and strikingly applied on a reddish heavy earthenware body.
