Dated: 1830 Village of Ewenney near Bridgend Wales.

This earthenware pottery slipware four handles porringer is decorated with stylized leaves, dots, dashes, and zig-zag squiggles. A white slip is applied to the red earthenware body, which is incised to expose the red body with desired decorations and then glazed in a sublime dark honey color.

Diameter: 4.25 inches

Current Condition: Historical wear in accord with age.
