This English earthenware slipware circular formed baking or loaf dish is beautifully comb decorated. It has a pie crust rim and a wonderful glaze with sublime colored slip. This dish is exceptional, a good size, and a very fine example from the mid 18th century.

Current Condition: Fine unrestored condition.

Provenance: Private Collection London and previously with the late Jonathan Horne of Kensington London. (Retains his label).
