An English pottery Prattware teapot with impressive relief molded decoration in the classic Regency style. The teapot is straight-sided with serpentine panels and an ear-shaped handle. The crisp relief decoration is swaggered green drapes with elaborate ochre-colored tassels; the base features a border of green and yellow acanthus leaves. This exceptional high quality teapot was made in the late 18th century in Staffordshire or possibly Yorkshire.

Dimensions: 4.5 inches high 8.25 inches long

Current Condition: The hairline at the body professionally restored.
