A naively modeled pottery figure of a cow in the form of a creamer with a seated milkmaid. The cow is decorated with sponge applied black and mustard, the milkmaid wears a dark ochre top and blue striped skirt, the base has canted corners with blue sponge decoration and a stripe around the base rim. The figure was made in the early part of the 19th century probably in Yorkshire.

Dimensions: 5.5 inches high, 6.75 inches wide

Current Condition: Professional restored at horns and tail, cover replaced.
