A rare figure of a pottery horse with a blue saddle modeled standing on a green base. The horse with a white patch on the head is unusually decorated in ochre and is probably made at St. Anthony's Pottery Newcastle Upon Tyne in the late 18th century. The figure has an engaging vitality and simple elegance.    

Dimensions: 5.75 inches high 6 inches long

Current Condition: Restored at one ear and tail other wise in good condition.
