The pottery cow creamer is a sponge decorated in black, grey, and dark ochre-colored spots. It is modeled with a milkmaid seated at her stool. The back legs of the cow have been hobbled to prevent kicking. The wafer thin base is colored with a translucent green. It probably emanates from the St. Anthony's Pottery in Newcastle upon Tyne.
