This pottery cow creamer is expressively sponge decorated with underglaze manganese and dark ochre stripes. The fat-bodied figure stands on a wafer-thin green oblong base with canted corners, and it probably emanates from St Anthony's Pottery in the northeast of England.

Current Condition: Cover replaced, restored at horns, ears and break in the tail
