A rare London delftware pottery salt, probably Southwark, made in the mid-17th century. The piece is a white undecorated tin glaze formed as a square pedestal with cut reticulated decoration. The top is set with a recessed circular well. The shape may copy a silver form from the same period.    

Dimensions: 3.75 inches high

Current Condition: Restored broken piece at corner.
