This large English earthenware deep-sided baking or loaf dish with a   rich brown ground body is decorated with an expressive and compelling slip of snaking squiggles in a dark cream. The dish is an outstanding example with strong decorative engaging appeal.

Current Condition: Some minor surface glaze loss invisibly restored.
