This earthenware circular baking dish is slip decorated with a dark cream expressive double lattice crisis cross pattern on a dark brown ground. The decorative and neatly formed dish was made in Staffordshire or the North Midlands in the last quarter of the 18th century. (It has a bespoke acrylic hanger for wall display.)  

Diameter: 11.25 inches

Current Condition: Unrestored with only minor signs of wear in accord with age.

Provenance: Retains the label of Jonathan Horne and later from a collection located in Kensington London
