Rare English delftware pottery charger with portrait of King William 111. The bust length crowned figure is painted in blue on a soft pale blue ground and flanked by the initials "KW" below scrolling drapery. The distinctive border comprises concentric circles with scrolls and roundles..The crown and border are enhanced with yellow polychrome . The reverse of the dish is lead glazed.

Diameter: 13.75 inches

Current Condition: Restored to section of rim and minor fritting.

Provenance: With Gary Atkins London and then "Royalist Delftware from the Birkett Collection".
