A rare Bristol or Liverpool Delftworks pottery plate with a Bianco-Sopra-Bianco border. The cavetto is finely polychrome decorated with two Chinese figures standing in a garden with a shrub with a profusion of flowers. The reverse is decorated with a blue trailing vine pattern, often a feature of works from Bristol.
Diameter: 8.75 inches
Current Condition: Unrestored and in good condition save for minor historical wear commensurate with age.
Provenance: Collection of a gentleman in the Home Counties England.
