The large delftware dish is exceptionally fine and expertly decorated in polychrome with a chinoiserie scene that incorporates a fence, a bird on a flowering branch, three formal trees, and the center with a large weeping tree. The border with a band of trellis diapers in seven cartouches with symbolized Chinese scrolls. The reverse of the dish is marked in blue with"Q and II" in the typical Bristol Temple Bank Pottery manner.
