This is a rare Engish delftware butter bowl painted in blue with a foliate design. The bowl has an inner flange to receive the cover (missing) and has a triangular spike at the center of the interior.   Attributed to the Vauxhall Delftworks in the early 18th century.

Diameter: 5.5 inches

Current Condition: Unrestored with an old feint stable hairline and minor wear in accord with age.
