The English delftware pottery bowl is exceptionally well decorated with a purple manganese-colored powdered ground with three remarkable images of fish on the side. The bowl's interior is painted blue with a stylized flower and foliage; the rim has an oval recurring bud-like pattern. It is attributed to the Bristol or Wincanton Delft Works in the mid-18th century.

Current Condition: Fine old hairlines professionally restored otherwise in good condition.
