A good English delftware wavy-edged plate is decorated in the cavetto with a beautiful oriental-influenced group of blue flowers, bamboo, leaves, and a flying insect. The plate has a soft pale blue ground glaze and a Bianco-Sopra-Border. Made in the mid-18th century, probably from the Richard Frank Delftworks at Redcliff Back Bristol.

Diameter: 8.75 inches

Current Condition: Fine unrestored condition with only minor fritting at the rim
