A delftware guglet and washbasin made at the Bristol delftworks in the mid 18th century. The guglet is a bottle form with a long neck and everted rim; the deep-sided bowl has a pie crust wavy edge also with an everted rim. The pieces are hand-painted with Chinese figures in a garden setting with rocks and trees.

Current Condition: The guglet with professional restoration at the rim, the basin with chips at the edge and a hairline in the well.
