A good Bristol Delftware dish is vitally painted in blue and white from rim to rim in chinoiserie fashion. It depicts a pagoda and an impressive fantastical rock formation within a fenced garden. A bird flies overhead. The reverse of the dish has "X and II" marks in blue, as often seen on Bristol wares from the period.
