The delftware plate has a central image finely painted in manganese, blue, and yellow, depicting an oriental island with a weeping willow tree, a house, two figures standing on a bridge, and a sailboat. The image is set within a delicate trellis-type border. The wavy rim is 29 scallop-shaped and decorated with bianco-sopra-bianco. The dish is in fine condition and attributed to the Bristol Delftworks.
