An excellent pair of English delftware chargers strongly decorated in polychrome with flowers and a parrot perched on a branch stemming from a rocky outcrop. This pattern is seen mainly on plates, it is rare to locate a pair of chargers especially in this condition. Shards have been found during excavations at the Abigail Delft works based in Lambeth London England. NOTE. There is a set of 12 plates located in the Williamsburg Museum; other similar pieces can be found. in the Victoria and Albert Museum London
