This 17th-century English delftware charger is painted in shades of blue. A central spiral is set within radiating cone shapes graphically applied. The border comprises five concentric lines with a series of squiggles at the rim. Roy Edwards excavated a similar fragmented waster at the Vauxhall London Delftworks site in the 1970s.

Diameter: 13.5 inches

Current Condition: Unrestored with only minor signs of wear commensurate with age, otherwise in remarkable condition.
