This sizeable English delftware dish is decorated in blue and white with an oriental-inspired scene showing a figure sitting under a weeping willow tree. The dish was made at the Abigail Griffiths delftworks in Lambeth, London, in the mid-18th century and is a very good example.

Diameter: 13.5 inches

Current Condition: Good condition with only minor fritting to the glaze at the rim.

Provenance: Collection of A gentleman in the Home Counties England.
