Description
A William Greatbach cylindrical shaped pottery creamware teapot and cover. The handle is ear shaped and the cover has a ball shaped finial.The pot is decorated with underglaze black prints highlighted with enamel colours of the Prodical Son Taking Leave and the Prodigal Son receives his Patrimony. The elegant spout is decorated with flowers and some parts of the body and cover are decorated in puce sponged ground. The cover also features winged angel heads.
