Description
This fine creamware pottery teapot, naturalistically formed cauliflower-shaped, was made at the William Greatbatch Pottery and is one of the best examples of its type.
The teapot was exhibited at the Boston Public Library, Massachusetts, in 1973.
Similar pieces are located in several international museums, such as the Mint Museum in Charlotte and the British Museum in London.
Greatbatch, along with Whieldon and Wedgwood, was one of the early fathers of British Ceramics.
