A very rare pearlware glaze pottery figure of a horse modelled standing on an oval base. The figure is decorated in dark pink and blue and is previously unrecorded with this unusual shaped base. Most of the early horse figures were produced in Newcastle on Tyne although there are features on this figure which suggest a possible Scottish origin.

Dimensions: 6.5 inches high, 6 inches wide, 3 inches long

Current Condition: Restored at ears.

Provenance: Private Collection Cotswolds.
