Description
The set of Jackfield lead-glazed Staffordshire pottery comprises of a coffee pot, teapot, water jug, and basin. The pieces are relief decorated with sprig molded roses, flowers, and a trailing grapevine pattern.
The coffee pot, teapot, and water jug each stand on three feet and retain their original bird finial covers. The coffee pot has a period silver embellishment at the tip of the spout and retains traces of gilding.
It is rare to find a set such as this still together from the mid 18th century period.
