Early creamware pottery cow creamer standing on a base Staffordshire circa 1770

This creamware cow creamer is an early example and of a slightly smaller form. The brown-eyed cow is expressively modeled in the elegant silver form and stands on a fluted oblong base. The original cover has a flower head finial, and it is remarkable that it has survived with the piece since the 1770s.  

Dimensions: 5 inches high 5.5 inches long

Current Condition: Restored by ceramic conservators to the British Royal family to break at the ankles.

Provenance: Gentleman Collector English Home Counties.
