Antique Prattware figure of a cow in the form of a creamer. Cow creamers were the height of fashion in the early 19th century and the design was probably inspired by creamers made in silver. Working folk could not afford such luxury hence the production of pottery cow creamers. These amusing figures have now become recognised as pure British folk art and they continue to delight to this day.
