Donyatt Pottery Devon an earthenware slipware puzzle jug scraffito decorated named and dated James Greenslade Maker January 17th 1862. The jug is also inscribed with the motto "Fill with good strong liquor". The scrafitto decoration is exceptionally well and intricately executed and is one of the best examples of this work I have seen on the output from the Donyatt Pottery.
