English pottery delftware bowl with pierced sides decorated in blue and white with, an unusually direct copy of a Chinese pattern of lotus leaves which was produced in the Yongzheng period(1723-1735). The dish is finely potted and an excellent decorative example. The inner rim under the base is pierced with two holes for hanging, indicating the piece was made mainly for decoration.
