A early creamware hollow bodied pottery figure of a cat modelled in a seated position with underglaze tan and chocolate brown slip decoration applied in a naive fashion. The figure is full of life and character a wonderful rendition of English folk art in pottery from the late 18th century period. Shards of this figure have been located at the Indeo Pottery site Bovey Tracey.

Dimensions: 4.74 inches high, 3 inches wide, 2.5 inches long

Current Condition: Minor restoration at base.
