Antique pottery sponged decorated cow creamer with a milkmaid; the figure is a rare version, the cow with hobbled legs. The dark ochre and light brown sponging are well applied to the body of the cow which is modeled standing on a translucent green base, all in underglaze colors.
Dimensions: 5.5 inches high, 6.25 inches wide, 3 inches long
Current Condition: Replaced cover, horns invisibly restored.
Provenance: Private collection of an Oxfordshire lady.
