Description
The 23-piece pottery set of a children’s nursery dinner service comprises 23 pieces and is delightfully decorated with flowers and foliage in Prattware colors and dates to the early 19th century.
The set comprises four oval platters, three lidded tureens, two square-shaped vegetable dishes, a gravy boat, five soup dishes, five plates, and a deep-sided square-shaped bowl. Various sizes as a guide; the most oversized oval platter is 5.5 inches x 4.25″.
The back of the pieces features an impressed four-dot worker mark. This is often associated with the Swansea and Yorkshire Potteries.
The service is a rare find with compelling charm.
