A fine antique Staffordshire pottery underglaze blue and white transfer decorated platter with figures of Lions. The platter is impressed with the mark ADAMS. This mark was used by this famous pottery William Adams who were based in the town of Tunstall, Stoke on Trent,Staffordshire. The Adams Pottery is well known for the quality of their output especially underglaze blue and white for which they were famous.
