Saltglaze stoneware teapot decorated with a basket of flowers and leaves in blue and modelled standing on three mask head paw feet. The teapot has similarities to the output from the Humphrey Palmer Pottery based in Hanley Staffordshire and dates to the 1750 period. The tiny scale indicates the expensiveness of tea in the mid 18th century.

Dimensions: 4 inches high, 6 inches wide, 3.5 inches long

Current Condition: Professionally restored, minor hairline at body, chipping, handle, and tip of spout.

Literature: White Salt- Glazed STONEWARE of the British Isles by Diana Edwards and Rodney Hampson, published by the Antique Collectors Club.
