This rare Staffordshire pottery pearlware figure of a father with a child on his knee is attributed to Obadiah Sherratt's pottery. The hoop-shaped bocage decorated with numerous flowers depicts the loving family play. (The companion piece shows a mother with a baby on her lap).
Dimensions: 6.5 inches high
Current Condition: Tip of leaf and child arm restored.
