A pair of Staffordshire pottery pearlware figures of Jobson the cobbler and his wife Nell. Jobson and Nell figures are not uncommon, however, this pair are the only know renditions with bocage and are very rare. The figures are naively potted and strongly coloured with bright enamels. The hoop shaped bocage is an appealing feature as is the mossy grass feature on the bases.
