Antique English Staffordshire pottery teapot in cream colored earthenware. The teapot is well decorated and well executed modelling with enamels in a Greek Key pattern, an acanthus leaf spout, a double strap loop handle and a flower knop on the cover. It is printed overglaze in black with The Fortune Teller on one side and the XII Houses of Heaven , to the other. The prints are decorated arted in enamels The teapot is the work of one of the original early Staffordshire Pottery figures William Greatbach of Lower Lane, Fenton, Stoke upon Trent, Staffordshire.
