A drinking group of a male and female couple brawling over the share of the alcholic beverage. The male figures grapples with the beaker held at the females mouth whilst pointing his stick alarmingly at her throat. The scene is watched by a seated dog at the womans feet. Although a comical figure the piece does underline the problem of drunkeness in England during the early 19th century.

Dimensions: 7 inches high, 5 inches wide

Current Condition: Minor restoration at stick and tip leaves.
