This charming figure is of a boy scratching his head in a bemused fashion on spilling a  basket of eggs destined for the market. His pannier shows a black and white rabbit peeping over the rim, looking at the disaster befalling the boy — this bocage pearlware figure produced in Staffordshire England in the early 19th century period.
