A rare Staffordshire pearlware pottery Arbor Group with figures of the Parson, the Bride and Groom and the praying clerk. The plaque reads " The New Marriage Act, John Frilland,Ann Boke aged 21, that is right says the parson, amen says the clerk". A vigorous representation, the figure is well modeled and has quality enamel decoration.

Dimensions: 6 inches high, 6 inches wide

Current Condition: Restored peice at top of arbor and the clerks head.
