A fine example of a lead glazed agateware earthenware spoon boat from the Staffordshire area in the mid 18th century England. The interior of the base is pressed moulded. The quatrefoil shape dish has indentations at the two ends where the spoons would rest. A fine example of early Staffordshire pottery.
